He did a beautiful job. Interesting that he left the HVRV white as the final paint. Simple and easy.
Your videos are a huge help to people and you should be proud of the results.

I like the plain white. Mine is that way and the wife wants a teal stripe, but I prefer the "sleeper" look...like a crappy 80s car with a blown v8 under the hood. Another awesome mobiltec inspired restore to look up to.

He's still thinking about some very small pin striping. I have a photo somewhere of a Love Bug with the original scheme and if I remember correctly it's not much at all. Mostly all one color with a small pin stripe or something.

Nice job and fun to see. Thanks for sharing the success...
I found the polar white a bit too bright. Maybe the HVRV colonial white wld be more mellow.
The sleeper mode is a good point but I like a bit of color on a 50s ham. It seems joyous and fun. These days of white, silver and black cars=boring.
I grew up in a house painted white. The first house I owned was green and my current house is red. White is boring. I love Victorian houses for their paint jobs and probably part of why I love the 50s trailer is the color...and the shape. This one has the shape and look at that birch front door and screen! Oh la la.
