How is the length of a trailer usually referenced, with or without the tongue? I am wondering if I have a 13 or a 15 footer. It appears that for new trailers marketing people and sellers seem to include or drop the tongue length depending on who they are selling to. Is there a standard?

"Bumper-to-ball" is the usual standard for our old vintage antiques. The length usually refers to the total of the frame, not just the cabin.

I agree, total length. You have a 15 foot trailer.
