I know most people on here end up buying new wings instead of rebuilding theres. But I would really just like to rebuild mine, does anyone have any experience doing them? The aluminum is reusable on mine, but I am missing some of the edging around mine and I am having trouble figuring out what to used to replace that part with. The wood was completely rotted out, so I was trying to figure out what would be the best thing to use inside, I was thinking some kind of plastic, maybe a piece of composite decking/fence plank??? Any suggestions would be awesome!

This just builds on ten's suggestion...it is a fun to read Shasta Wings info thread. Since you have your old wings you have proper sized "patterns". Members reading this thread who are wanting info to make wings for their wingless Shastas, dimensions are given for the different models of Shasta...all Shasta wings were NOT created EQUAL. www.freewebs.com/kc8jwa/wings.htm
