This may seem obvious to the pros amount us. It took me a few minutes to guess the answer. After a recent trip home 650 miles with a 1964 Shasta we bought I noticed something odd on two windows. Screws mysterious unscrewed. Just in a few places. Like gremlins were riding along with screwdrivers. The answer is?

Two guesses:
1. The wood is rotten and they vibrated out. 2. They missed the wood when they were originally put in.

The wood behind the screws is rotso; vibration of the drive allowed them the opportunity of escape. Another 100 miles and they would have been home free. Or, you parked in a walmart parking lot...

You guys are too good. lotz rotza under what looks like a good panel and vibration. And I did stop at Walmart. Wings are stolen everywhere. At Walmart, the clientele steal the screws.

Just an aside... I haven't been in a walmart in over two years. Pretty proud of myself for that...

Just an aside... I haven't been in a walmart in over two years. Pretty proud of myself for that... Just found out after testing that the new fishing polarized sun glasses I have been buying for over 15 years are now made with very toxic materials and caused a terrible rash everywhere they touched behind my ears and through my sideburns. Only the soft rubber padding part that is over the plastic and making contact caused the rash. Very hard and painful to get rid of also. My doctor confirmed this. I stopped wearing the glasses and got rid of the rash. Then wore them for one day and wham. The rash came back immediately.

This entire thread was an aside to an aside to an aside. Even the riddle was an aside.
Aside from that it was fun.

Aside from that aside; Larry, don't give up your glasses, they see everything. But cover the over the ear parts with electrical shrink wrap. Experience. Does the trick. Walmart, although the scourge of little towns like mine, was not designed as a campground with bad intentions... just turns out that way here. Big time rest area for campers with more than a days drive, truckers who have no alternative truck stop due to regs, drug dealers wanting a busy but invisible place to deal, and of course www.peopleofwalmart.com/category/location/oh/beware the people of walmart. Actually I expect to see one on this site walking the isles wearing leopard skin tights and Shasta wings as a head dress, borrowed begottenly. Now, back to mystery screws... Phff, we already solved that one.

Our local Walmart has a large sign now that reads no truck parking all violators will be towed at owners expense. Our local police have removed the ladies and everything in the parking lot is recorded on video tape. For some unknown reason the problems have all disappeared.
