Took a couple weeks off, but now back at it full steam. Ran 1/2" EMT conduit under the new floor and made plywood wheel wells. Also painted the underside of the floor with Rust-olium Restore paint. Really thick stuff. Finally got to start on the walls. Tonight's creation... ...and what it's replacing.

Yay! You are back at it! Why plywood for the wheel wells? We're the metal wells shot?

i can imagine. The new wells are probably a heck of a lot sturdier than the sheet metal anyway. What types of flooring are you thinking about putting down?

I have never seen EMT used that way. Looks incredible! I'm curious about the lag bolts through the framing. mobiltec says the bolts need to always go through the plywood flooring, but I have seen many examples done like yours. How were you intending to secure your plywood...screws and glue?

How were you intending to secure your plywood...screws and glue? The plywood is screwed frequently (every 6" or so) into the wood framing and also bolted (1/4" machine screws) not so frequently into the metal frame. I didn't want to run the 3/8" bolts thru the plywood because I'm countersinking the bolts 1/2" and that would only leave 1/4" of wood holding on. I'm pretty confident the floor isn't going anywhere.
