Has anyone ever used a creative method to attach gimp to their panel edges? I stupidly forgot to staple mine into place when I replaced one of the ceiling panels. Regular Superglue kind of works, but I don't think the bond will stick in the long term. I do have enough space where the panels join to slip in the tab that would normally be stapled down, which might make it easier to attach somehow. I have a second piece of gimp that needs replacing on the edge of the front cabinet that does not have space for the flat tab. I accidentally cut through it (and a bit of the cabinet) from the outside when cutting out a rotten piece of framing. It's very visible. I filled in the cut wood with wood filler and tried to use the same stuff to fill in the quarter inch gap in the gimp, but as you can imagine, it doesn't look very good. Does anyone have any ideas for how I can manage this eyesore? Maybe either with a different kind of filler, or some kind of glue that I could use directly on the round part of replacement gimp? I'm sure I would have to cut off the tab before putting it in place. Or maybe someone has a suggestion of something I could hang to cover up that corner between the front cabinet and the curb side wall?

Why didn't I think of that?! This is the upper curbside corner where the front cabinet, ceiling, and curbside wall meet. I sawed right through it. The upper piece of the gimp also happens to be the one that I forgot to attach to the curbside wall, so I could potentially remove the whole piece if I wanted to try to butt them together. I did actually try that but the gimp has been curved in that position for 50 years and is reluctant to be reshaped enough to move 1/4" down. If I had a good way of bonding it to the wood, it might work. <img src="https://www.dropbox.com/s/j87gu2nh2zvo4sd/SawnThroughGimp.jpeg?dl=0" /> www.dropbox.com/s/j87gu2nh2zvo4sd/SawnThroughGimp.jpeg?dl=0I've searched the board and read several tutorials about how to post a picture, but nothing I try seems to work. I've tried using the "insert image" icon, I've tried typing HTML on the BBCode tab, and I've tried just pasting the URL in the text area. The first two result in a broken picture image, and the last one results in a link. How do I make the picture appear in my post? My picture is hosted in Dropbox, if that makes any difference.
