I have an older trailer about 40 feet long 3 axles bunk house in front and bedroom at the rear with restroom and doors on both sides can't find any identification on the trailer . On the tongue I found 7 numbers 508-40-52 and custom built , greyhound stamped on the tongue as well

Hi Bobby, That is a beauty... As for the make, here are my best two guesses: 1- It was custom built as a bunkhouse for Greyhound bus drivers to crash. I once had an Airstream much the same for the rail roads. Besides it looks unusually tall. 2- That it may be a Greyhound model built by Customcraft of El Monte,Ca. Don't know that they had such a thing.. Here's a link to a Customcraft; www.allmanufacturedhomes.com/1952_customcraft_8x35.htmGoing back to #1 it is very reminiscent of a Kit Manufacturing Panelized Trailer as far as the lines on the side go . Search: Kit Panelized Trailer Having said that, they were pretty good about having their name in several places. Tag on tongue, stamped into a small squarish Trailer Coach Association badge near the door, and in a cabinet somewhere. The vin to me would indicate that is the 508th unit built by that company, is indeed a 1950 and 40' long. Your best bet would be to send some pics to the email address of the site linked above. He's the one that would know if anyone does. I can say his name, but can't spell it...
