I am planning on polishing my exterior per my paint scheme but if the metal is anodized, this supposedly works to brighten those surfaces too, they say it can protect polished aluminum and oxidized paint as well. Here is their site www.everbritecoatings.com/#gsc.tab=0Has anybody used this stuff??? Would it oxidize over time too?

It was suggested to me that if you identify a commercial truck stop that has truck washing facilities, you can ask whoever is operating it, and they can suggest the products that pro truckers use to make their rigs shine, including those stainless tankers. I'm not familiar with this product.
With your paint scheme if you want to try it on the bare aluminum, I'd think the 150 sq. ft. coverage kit would probably be enough for one application and cost a bit under $50.

Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking. I read the prep for it...It's just as much work as polishing....but maybe it would seal the surface long term.
That's a really good idea about the truck wash, I'll ask my uncle who is a trucker if he could ask at a few.
