Haven't been too active with the Shasta folks, and have been wandering the dark reaches of the Interweb looking for the Shasta owners. Used to frequent the Yahoo group years ago. Where has the herd migrated too.... here ?
It looks nice here no problem about that.

Welcome, Randy. There are quite a few Shasta owners that frequent this forum. I am in the process of rebuilding/customizing our 1970 Shasta Starflyte. Trying to get her ready for a 2 week Florida trip in November.

Yes, this is the reincarnation of the old Shasta forum. Welcome. I have a '62 Shasta Compact, also.

Another caretaker of a ham-style Compact. Not owner. Hamlet owns us, not the other way around.

wowabunga I own a 61 Compact and 59 Airflyte and this Forum has the Best of the old VSTF Membership and much much more. It's the only Forum for me. Having a 62 Compact is better than knowing the secret handshake.

Yes I LOVE my Compact dearly there is no doubt. There have been times where it was my home... nice to have something to always fall back on in between career changes. In other news... I attend a lot of auctions and visit many a scrap yard, and when I see parts and trailer stuff I grab it. I'll be posting for sale an aluminum Heir Roof Vent, some jack stands, interior coolness, and some parts left over from a 1969 I parted out. This is one of those side-effects of the trailer-addicted...a garage FULL of stuff you might never (but hope to) use....
