Hey folks so I'm looking to completely revamp my 110 electrical system in my camper, since I'm having a hot skin problem whenever I plug in. It's not really a project I feel comfortable doing on my own. Anyone know of a good electrician in the New England area that has knowledge about vintage camper wiring? I'll pay whatever is necessary really. Thanks for any help.

Check out the NSSO Scotty forum. I think there's a guy in New York doing some work for others...
We have members here that are in NE, not sure they want to hit the 110 repair circuit. LOL.

Yeah I don't blame them haha! I'll check out that Scotty forum and see if I can find 'em. Until then I'm just bypassing the 110 system and using an extension cord and surge protector.thanks for the help.

You might want to consider putting a Help Wanted ad in your local pulp weekly Trader/Penny Pincher type for sale rag. Our Penny Pincher charges something like $4.95 for a three week simple ad. Say you are looking for an experienced electrician who has worked on vintage campers...REFERENCES REQUIRED. Chances are you may have a retired old-timer that is willing to do the work for around $35/hr. Check the references thoroughly of course. Or go to your oldest local camper seller/repair place and ask to speak to the oldest person in the shop, and "chew the fat" with him/her a bit and see if s/he can either do the work or recommend someone.
