I am working out my cost projections on a late forties trailer, manufacturer so far unknown and right now I am unsure how to proceed with the floor estimates. I am assuming at least the surface will need replacement and I am not putting checkerboard linoleum in... other than engineered wood or laminate, what are my period correct options? Does anyone still selling giant sheets of linoleum or is it all soft vinyl that's available? Am I stuck with cheesy adhesive floor tiles? Do I paint it and then use a floor wax like in my kitchen growing up?
Now I know as far as counters go, there are some places that sell very expensive fifties patterned formica type surfaces, what would work best for forties era counters, does anyone with a forties Spartan have a picture of their counters?

Most older trailers are floored with Marmoleum, still available today in multiple colors...
