Anyone know how to have power from your tow vehicle charge your trailer battery while towing? Would I need a dual battery isolator? I have one in the tow vehicle but I have 2 batteries in the van.

The very first thing you need is a charging wire fuse located as close as possible to the vehicles battery. From there there are some people who just hook the trailer directly to the vehicles battery. If you do that you need to unplug the connection when not running vehicle engine such as in a camp site or you can drain down the vehicles battery and not be able to start engine. There are many electrical devices out there to prevent that from happening, depending on what you wish to spend. BUT the fuse is a must have. If you stretch an unfused wire and it shorts out you could cause your vehicle to catch fire.
