WOW! With less than a day and a half left, I expect the action will heat up in about 24 hours. Those are in excellent condition! I know that I followed the bidding on a similar single light in not quite as good condition taken out of, I think, a 1959 Airflyte, and the one unit sold in a last minute/second bidding frenzy for $165.

I messaged the seller to see if she would be interested in offering a Buy It Now price. I probably don't want to know what the price would be, but it's worth a shot.

Theresa, I think it's a smart move. If you can score those 4, for say just over $200, as LW says there are approximately, at least, $400 worth of lights, you could use 2 and sell the other 2 on our own FS site and recoup your original investment = 2 free vintage correct lights in the camper of your choice. If no BIN price is offered, who knows, since I have 3 campers that those lights would go nicely with, I may be hammering a max willing to pay price in with 5 seconds left against both You and LW, LOL!

Alas, I wouldn't be so lucky. The seller's reply: "Sorry, no."

Don't wait for the last seconds of the auction. Use e-snipe. I use it all the time. You enter your top bid for the item and it waits till the last 6 seconds and begins to bid for you. No one can bid as fast as a computer proxy bidder. There are lots out there but e-snipe is the best. Google it. I have won every auction I have bid on where my bid was high enough, plus using e-snipe can trick the other bidder into thinking no one else is bidding so the price stays down. It costs I think .25 cents per transaction and is a fantastic tool. I have won so may items for my trailer using it. Google e-snipe to find it. They give you a few free transactions to start you out ... Good luck

I had forgotten about the snipers ladywendolyn I haven't ebayed for a long while; I guess I've got to get back in the game! I don't think you should bother....seems that eBay is pretty well wrapped up. If we all just sit back and let ladywendolyn accumulate all this good stuff from ebay, she'll have to open a vintage parts shop sooner or later...We'll know exactly who to call for these kinds of parts, and won't have to even look at ebay. (By the way, the cool part about this sale, and several others that our Lady W has presented, is these are not listed in any category that is associated with "vintage campers" or any of those search terms...and would not be found by most of us "trailer nuts" in the impossible market today.)

no, I actually wasn't around for the auction end and forgot all about sniping it. That's crazy because I'd have paid way more than that had the seller agreed to do a Buy It Now option.

I have three of these lights that I bought for my trailer a year ago and paid $185, which was still a good deal. I was almost tempted to buy these to resell, but I promised myself.. no more extras. I already have two of the shasta lights sitting here that I am not going to use. I will be selling off a bunch of stuff in the next while, but will give first dibs here...
