Please stay away from the square checkered floor, that is why I'm drawn more to the first design - especially Iove the colors. The basket weave is interesting, but In my opinion, the floor is not the star of the show.

Those are both really sweet. I especially like the second one but maybe because of the colors and the birch cabinets and Princess stove!

Me thinks you need another trailer so you can do both!!
What I really like is that chamber pot in the first pic. I can see myself tossing the contents out the front door of my trailer early in the morning before all the other campers are awake.

ladywendolyn I absolutely LOVE the first one! I wish Idared to be that creative. I'm going with teal and light gray 9x9 in a diagonal diamond pattern.

When I was a kid, my granny's house had one in every bedroom but they were called "slop jars." And yes, there was an outhouse, even though indoor plumbing had been added on to what was once the back porch of the main house.

Theresa are you cutting out diamonds or are you turning the squares sideways to make a diamond pattern?

I plan to just turn them sideways to make the diamond. That said, I haven't really planned this whole thing out yet to get specific details, I just know when I get to that point, soon hopefully, that's my hope/plan/idea.
