I'm new to the vintage trailer world and look forward to enjoying some fun times and events with what seems like a great group of people in the future.
I sold my restored pop up, (It was cool but a pain in the butt to set up and take down), and my search for a vintage camper led to my 1968 Concord Traveler Conastoga. (pictures posted in the new guy section). Bought from the original owner, it's in great shape needing only some TLC and some upgrades. I towed it 1300 miles home after it sat for over 30 years.
I see a lot of info on Shasta's, Scotty's, Airstreams and others but have found no history or information on my Concord. Several search's have only turned up another owner with the same questions as me. What I do know is that it was built in Elkhart In. And not long after 1968 was taken over by Champion, who went out of business sometime in the 70's or 80's.
Do any of you ole timers, (It's OK, I'm one too), remember Concord Travelers ....? Or have any information to share....? It seems to be a well built and sturdy unit.
Will.

Often a very common theme when you get outside the desirable trailers like Shasta. I've only ever seen one trailer exactly like ours, and that person posted a single photo on Facebook and then never responded again. This trailer has several design features that make a restoration challenging, so it would have been nice to have someone with identical experience, but luckily the good folks here have all the knowledge we need to work our way through the rot.
