The floor on my Boles is completely removed. The original floor system was 1/2 black mat stuff. then 1, 1/2 floor joists then 1/2 plywood as far as I can tell. The walls sit on the floor so keeping the proper thickness of the floor is important so the metal will fit properly at the wheel wells. My question is How should I re due it . I'm thinking of using 3/8 inch plywood then 1 1/2 joists then 5/8 plywood. I wood like some advise of what would be good to use. I will use hard insulation in the cavity I'm also wondering when I put the wall paneling on should I leave a small gap at the bottom for expansion like in a house. Thank you Gary

The floor is completely removed and the wall sits on it? So you lifted the box off the frame? Or just a section of the floor was removed? Photos would help us visualize it. You might find these videos, done by a forum member, helpful. I think there are several short videos on floor replacement. cannedhamtrailers.com/57shasta.htm
