From the curb side, it looks a lot like the size of a Compact (not one, though), but from the street side, it looks a lot longer. Neat layout. COngrats, and welcome!

I don't know what it is, beyond that it is likely from the 70's given the shape. From what I have been taught.. Canned ham = 1950's Toaster= 1060's Really square, with angles=1970s. Just a general rule, but seems to be true a lot of the time. I would try going to Tin Can Tourist Website, and look at pics of 1970's small trailers to narrow it down. Welcome to the forum.

Judging by the time period the manufacture is liable to be a little tough to track down, as there were so many manufacturers that were all copying each other. It looks like it will be nothing but fun though!

Thanks for all the clues folks, my main concern is finding the vin. I've looked everywhere and i'm up the creek without it in Massachusetts. It looks like there was once a little plaque on the tongue with some information but the only thing left is the screw holes. Any suggestions?

so it came with no license plate, then? nope, being the vintage camper amateur that I am, I bought it with only two bills of sale. I tried to apply for a new vin but that was a nightmare, the cop said he needed more documentation so he knows it wasn't stolen. So im kind of lost right now.

Hm. I did that too but my plan is to register it as Homebuilt, just as soon as I finish the rebuild. Yours is in pretty good condition so you probably won't want to do that!

Jerfo are you in the NE oops just read Mass We are in Mass and have a large vintage camping group if you interested yeah, apparently he had a whole lot of people (like 30 or 40) inquire about it. So he wanted to turn it into a bidding thing I think. Thankfully I got to go see it before all of that and I purchased it. I got the registration taken care of so yeah I'd totally be interested in the group. You folks got a website?
