What welting is used on my 1968 Aristocrat between wall and ceiling? The PO used something, does not look familiar. I am looking on VTS website and am confused. Thank you in advance. Roger

Post a photo. Most 68's had an off white gimp. If it's too big or rope like, probably added on...

The PO replaced all the paneling with a dark wood. Some of the paneling needs replacing, and I need to order welting. Do I use the round welting or something else? I am looking on VTS website. They have round cabinet welt, cove cabinet welt, and 3/4" cove gimp. I need a dark color to match the dark wood. UPDATE: I looked thru a box of stuff that came from the PO as part of my purchase of the trailer. Lo and behold is the welting (gimp) I need, some in brown and some in off white. Now I feel DUM-DEE-DUM-DUMB. LOL Thanks again. Roger

Roger, also be aware that gimp is nigh impossible to "insert" into a space between panels and ceiling unless the trailer is dismantled. In other words, the gimp goes on top of the cabinets and walls before the ceiling panels are laid.
If you are doing inside repairs, you might consider flexible trim instead. Hard to guess without seeing the actual trailer.

Vikx, Thanks for that info. My trailer was gutted by the PO, and all new paneling installed, with a dark finish. the ceilings are good, but I need to replace some wall panels in the rear where a bed should be. The area is under the rear window. I will be removing rear panel and side panels to repair the frame, and replace interior panels. Just getting a head start on what to use. Pics to follow. What is flexible trim?

Your trailer is so pretty Roger! I inherited my Deluxe gutted inside. It still had the cabinets/newer roof but the walls were, um, missing... I used trim from Lowe's, appeared to be a hard foam material to follow the curves. Backers installed at the trailer edges: Here's the trim: Trim is 1/2" quarter round, synthetic and very flexible. Takes some looking to find the right wood tone. Check Home Depot and local yards as well...
