I found these white metal straps in the rear of my 69 Lark while cutting the rotten wood out of the walls. Can anyone tell me what they are or what their purpose is? Thank you for your time, Terry

Probably just for framing reinforcement. Common at door and window openings.

Shasta used that same type setup in the rear top in the "toaster"-shaped campers in the later 60's. I believe the strapping was added to the wood frame to help the aluminum skin hold its shape going over the bend at the rear of the roof.
