On the 66 starflyte the previous owner did not want the bunks or potty room so removed them. I am wanting to put a bunk back in. Not sure how they are built, now there is like a little shelf area but see where the latches were on the sidewalls. Would like to see how they were built and the sizes. They removed the potty and closet area it was in, I can see the outline of walls and the tank and all are still there for the potty, don't think there was a shower at least don't see a footprint of any kind. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

I don't have a starlight, but my Glendale had a very interesting style of bunk with a holder that also doubled as a bar to keep the child in bed. I think it looks better than some of the other styles. I

I have pictures of several bunks, one in a LoFlyte and the other in a Loliner. Both are very similar to my 68 Starflyte, a 3 piece and a 2 piece. PM me for my email address; the photos aren't online, or I can't find them... Here's my Starflyte, not very good photos but does show the potty/shower room. Had a plastic riser for the toilet. s189.photobucket.com/user/vikxphotos/library/68%20Shasta%20Starflyte?sort=3&page=1

Thanks, wish I was closer. Maybe someone is near here? I have a whole supply of tables but would love to have that bunk, mainly to copy.

Good news, still have the fold out bunk boards, I think all of them there are 3 pcs. that they had been using on top of the gaucho! Now to figure how they went originally. I can see where the larger one appeared to attach permanently and see where a hinge would have connected the other 2, the area where the latch had gone on one of these pcs. But don't see any marks on the one that appears stationary to attach the others to. Anybody know?

lovnvintage, are you wanting a bunk over the dinette or the rear couch? I know 65callie sent me bunk pictures some time ago, I will look and see what I can find for you.

Thanks that would be great. It seems there was the fold out above the rear gaucho and there is a small board that was permanently there. I have been messing with it and realize the largest board goes to the front above the dinette. There are no signs of hinges so guess it was either a shelf or permanent small bunk. The rear one has 2 pcs. that hinge together and then fold up is how it is looking to me. So guess both or any would be helpful, though I think I have figured it out. I am guessing that over the rear gaucho one board did not have hinges and would just lay on top of the permanent one? While working on this I found the only rot in the baggage compartment trunk area behind the gaucho, so have to deal with that and fix one corner of the gaucho frame. Guess not all that bad compared to all the rot in the airflyte I have dealt with!
