Hi,
Thanks to the one and only SusieQ, we have a link to a map of vintage trailer campgrounds in the USA in the links section. vintagetrailertalk.freeforums.net/thread/4628/map-vintage-friendly-campgrounds-tct?page=1&scrollTo=43976
But, I have one question. What is a vintage trailer friendly campground? Is an unfriendly campground one where a team of screaming haunting zombies chase you out with flaming torches, shovels, and ice picks raised over their heads?
Just asking?
Seriously, why would their be a difference? I thought all campgrounds were friendly to whatever trailer you are pulling or even motorhome.
Cheers
Rod

Some campgrounds have rules that do not allow trailers which are older than a certain year. I have seen this in some posh RV campground rules but some people have even been turned away from certain KOA's. Others only allow self contained and do not allow gray or black water containers which sit on the ground. And some campgrounds just don't want broken windows, duct tape and hanging metal.

....Uggh. That's Trailerism... I always dry camp and in 10 years of owning a trailer, I have only had full hookups once. I never would have thought it was an issue. But, on the other hand, we don't know what experiences the (private?)campground owners had in the past with certain types... of trailers to create that rule. My experience with vintage trailers and their owners is clearly different. Thanks Susie Rod

If they only allow fully self contained trailers they don't need expensive bath houses and such to have a permit to operate from the health department. Also they don't have to deal with us poor social outcasts that don't have enough money to own a self contained trailer. ROF
