I would like to post pictures and get advice as repair my trailer. I tried a week ago to post pictures but didn't do to well. After many hours with tech support and reading posts I'm going to try this again. So here goes I'll start with pictures of where I'm at now and continue as time goes on Thank you Gary <iframe width="480" height="360" src="http://s284.photobucket.com/user/garyann1/embed/slideshow/"></iframe>

I've been wondering what I should use for the under floor on my Boles Aero. What it came with was a black 1/2 thick mat like material. then over that about 1 1/2 inch square wood then 1/2 plywood. I know I need to keep the thickness of the floor close to what it was so the outer siding matches up The walls sit on the floor. Thanks Gary

Gary, the black underbody material is probably asphalt impregnated fiberboard. It is still used in the construction industry and comes in varying densities depending on the application. On a trailer, it can compress over time from the weight of the body bouncing down the road on top of it. A higher density board may minimize this.
How do you plan to go about replacing it?

Greg, After I finish the side walls and lower wall supports, I'll raise the body off the frame and remove the frame. I'll replace the under floor, floor joists and reinsulate it and install the floor. I plan on using 1/2" plywood for both, plus rigid insulation. As soon as I can figure how to post a single picture I will. Thanks, Gary

Greg What kind of wood do you use for framing the interior walls. I've been trying to get straight DF but I'm not having mush luck Thanks Gary
