I'm starting to think about what colors/schemes I want for my flooring in my '60 Shasta. I know for sure I want VCT tiles, I will probably cut them down to 9x9, and I will lay them in a diamond pattern rather than checkerboard. That's all I know for sure. I'd like to purchase a few different color tiles to lay down to see what I want before I buy a bunch and wish I'd gone with a different color. Unfortunately, I want non-traditional colors. My Lowe's only has the commons for purchase in a single tile (white, black, off-white, and gray maybe). Does anyone know of an online source to purchase a few single pieces of a few different colors to help me make my choice? I live in a pretty rural area and our choices are two local hardware stores, and a Lowe's. Home Depot is a 2 hour drive away. So online would be ideal.

Hi Theresa, I've shared this on other threads. It worked great for me. This is in reference to the Armstrong website. You can get samples of any of the tiles on their website. I ordered 6x6 tiles. It wants you to put in your "job" (like as if you're a contractor) and I just put home remodel and then set up an account. When setting up the account, they want to know the "company" name and I put "Residence" and then they want to know your title and I put "homeowner". They sent the samples via FedEx at no charge. I went back and placed two more orders with no problem. Read more: vintagetrailertalk.freeforums.net/thread/3199/flooring-tile-ideas-where-buy#ixzz3Zz40fpBc
