to VTT. It would be fun if you could score a 1955 canned ham shaped camper to tow behind that Nomad. Glad you are with us.

welcome to Vintage Trailer Talk. Glad you are recovering and ready to go camping again. I would suggest that you give serious thought to what amenities you want/need in your trailer then make sure they are already there or that you have enough space/money to add them. I have no idea of what it takes to keep the boss happy but remember IF MOMMA AIN'T HAPPY, NOBODY IS HAPPY. Also if you need any special equipment to assist you can it be added in a satisfactory manner. A few of us here have disabled spouses and realize that special hand rails, entry steps, among other things are needed for safety and convenience. Remember older trailers have smaller doors and often no steps or grab handles plus no bathroom or a/c. Don't want to sound like a wet blanket just throwing out a few thoughts to help you buy what you need.

I'm Glad you have made a decent recovery and I wasn't trying to be a wet blanket but my spouses health problems over the last few years has made me very aware of the problems one can have. Also I have preached for years both spouses need to be capable of driving anything they travel in. A friend had a major stroke about a thousand miles from home and his wife had never driven there class A motor home plus they towed there car behind it, so they had to let it sit at the campgrounds till they could find someone to drive it home. The total cost of letting it sit plus a professional company driving it home came to over three thousand dollars. I told them I would have went and get it if they had ask but they didn't want to bother anybody.
