Wow! Lowe's is my only convenient supplier. Not exactly the pattern I would want but beats heck out of the gray Formica pattern. Looks great! Thanks for sharing.

Looks great. Are other boomerang patterns about the same price?

Looks great. Are other boomerang patterns about the same price? Lowe's has a gray pattern boomerang I think around $70ish. However, the laminates online that are similar to the one I have were listed for over $300-350. I was ecstatic when Lowe's told me $149. And I was lucky that my color pattern is yellow and white!

I checked the Lowes site and found a few options but not the one you used or the gray boomerang. Maybe they don't offer a lot of options in NC? Or did you order directly in the store and not online?

Lowe's should be able to order the gray boomerang because it is a standard Formica pattern, unless they've dumped it now, too. I did not know Lowe's did the Wilsonart. I'm going to ask at ours.

I went to Lowe's in Raleigh (on Capital Blvd) to look at what they had in stock. I asked if they had the Retro Butterscotch, he did a quick computer search and said it could be ordered. It took about 19 days for it to be delivered to the store. in High Point (where I live) the gray boomerang was actually in stock and on the shelf.

Wow, apparently Lowe's has started carrying a selection of Wilsonart laminates. You can go online and order and have it shipped to your store for pick up.
There's only one thing I question in the description that sounds like it might not be as durable as Formica. It says it is for vertical use, not horizontal, then it contradicts itself.
48-in x 96-in Retro Butterscotch Laminate Kitchen Countertop Sheet
This is a vertical-grade laminate that is intended for vertical applications where a functionable, durable, decorative surface must absorb somewhat less impact than a comparable horizontal surface From photorealistic imagery to abstract and artistic, the Custom Laminate collection offers a wide range of patterns exclusive to Wilsonart® All Custom Laminate designs are manufactured with Wilsonart's #60 matte finish textured with a moderate reflective quality, recommended for vertical and horizontal applications 48-in x 96-in sheets only Longer lead time applies

I guess I was so excited about the availability and price that I didn't read the description as well as I should have. I am hoping that with as little activity as there is on a camper counter/table that it will hold up fine. It won't have the wear and tear as a house hold counter top. Thanks for the research , SusieQ!

I think it will be fine. It's not like you're using it every day. I just expected it to be comparable to Formica 's durability.

Big Box stores are notorious for not having their websites up to date. I'll wander down to the kitchen cabinet department next time I'm in Lowes. Thanks again. As far as durability goes, if you have kids under 10 I'd recommend granite.
