Hello everyone, I am a gas lamp enthusiast who restores them as a hobby. So feel free to ask me questions on the subject and share your own knowledge, too - I will be happy to help you. Alex.

Alex I imagine that many folks will welcome your advice as to how to repair and where to find the proper parts to restore their light. Welcome aboard.

A little behind, but "Hi!". I was just reading through some of the recent threads, and wanted to thank you, Alex, for responding to so many. Propane appliances are often scary and it's nice to hear some definitive answers to some of the questions. Your help will be much appreciated by newcomers and some of us older-timers as well.

Cool.. so if I want to buy a vintage lantern we have someone here who can helpfully give me enough guidance so I don't blow up the trailer! (I have had one explosion.. so I have never had a vintage lantern since.
