I got my Shasta yesterday. Took it first thing to a vintage repair place for a through check. Everything checked out good. A few minor things there and there were on the recommend list... One being a suggestion to replace the LP connector into the tanks- it's good, but original. Someone also installed a 12V fan and there is no 12V in the trailer (any suggestions welcome here ). I took it to the Canned Ham Man in Riverside, CA. This guy is a vintage trailer nut. He has 40 of his own. Literally 40. And he is a wood worker. I did have him take the original fridge. As they were taking it out, the door fell off. And the LP line had been capped off at some point. I'm going to put an electric fridge.
Our first trip will be for one week, this weekend!!! Excited to say the least!

Oh, he charged me $500 for the inspection. That is the same price I paid at an rv/ trailer repair place I took my T@B to when I got it....

I doubt it will get much use anymore and it has definitely served its purpose.

Sounds like you are off to a great start. Have a great first trip. If you run into a few minor things don't get upset, that is somewhat normal till you tweak it to suit your wants and needs.
