Hi! My name is Gina Maseratti and I am getting ready to restore a 1960's Shasta compact. Will be doing a complete custom trailer, so I will probably have quite a few original parts I will not use. ie Icebox, Drawers, etc. let me know if you are looking for something. Also would like to find the exact year... id # is P10050 thanks!!

Welcome to VTT. As you remove the parts and pieces, all you should have to do is advertise them in the Parts For Sale section and hopefully someone near you will want them and save the hassle of packaging and shipping. We love pics of new Member's campers.

Hello Welcome to the board. Make sure what your final desired plan is before you sell or dispose of parts. Sometimes we reconsider what we desire as a final result after we get started.

I agree with Big Bill. Keep all parts and pieces until you are SURE you don't need them...

I believe I remember a new Member discussing gutting her camper to create a commercial mobile "crafts type studio", and then a couple of months later it was listed for sale, gutted...a lot of value was possibly lost because the owner's plans changed. Good advice to save everything..."just in case". Once your "plan" has been accomplished, any excess parts/pieces sold will be "found money".

Pretty sure we're going to do a custom remodel...but wondering how I could find the value if we do a straight vintage restoration. I believe it's a 1963

Most vintage trailers when properly restored, with era original appliances, and fixtures, and vintage correct decor, are worth more than a vintage trailer with new, which ends up looking like a mixture of repairs. Its personal preference though... So whatever makes you happy
