I love this table idea from a holiday house. Our trailer will only have one seating/dining area. No Gaucho, so I love the idea of being able to convert the dining table to a cocktail table like this. I can see that there is a piano hinge, but I can not figure out how it attaches to the wall when folded, or how you would keep it open and flat when extended. Any thoughts? I am actually thinking that perhaps I could make it like a typical drop leaf that folds in front, and then attach it the normal way. But this particular attachment has me baffled.

If you look at the photo you will see a cut out in the wall. The table folds down from the piano hinge and fits into the cut out in the wall. The extension stores in the closet. I can take photos if you need them.

Oh.. is it your table? That would be great. I just contacted Vintage Trailer magazine trying to find out who the owners are. YES! I would love photos of this application.

No, this is not mine. There is a 1960 Holiday House sitting in my driveway though. My daughter just bought it. I will try to get some photos tomorrow. Hers is not exactly like this but it works the same.
