Very cool trailer and great restore as well. Funny, My 1949 Silver Lodger had the same cross hatching on the doors and drawers. Same fir plywood too.

Hey thanks for complement on my trailer. Is your Silver Lodger a masonite trailer which is what the Playboy is. Not many small masonite trailers around.

Sorry, I haven't been on here for a few days. No the silver Lodger is shiny aluminum. Google silverlodger.com My web site will come up, with all the pictures so far. I'm hoping to pull it out of storage and start some work in another week. My shoulder is just about healed now so I can get started on the interior Wayne.

It's not a trailer license plate, it's a car plate.
I just purchased a new old stock 1947 TLR California plate, and a 1948 metal tag for my Spartan.

I installed a horizontal propane tank like that on my 58 Deville. Looks great. But they don't hold as much propane.

I installed a horizontal propane tank like that on my 58 Deville. Looks great. But they don't hold as much propane. And......the new propane tanks cannot be filled to full capacity due to the new safety valves and their internal plumbing.
I think it's only about 75-80% of the tank volume on a new tank.
Larry, It's called progress, my sarcastic view point, LOL.

Actually, if you have an older horizontal tank you are not required to have the new valves installed. That is the way the one on the Deville is. But the new tanks come with that lower volume valve... Progress. Yep. How many propane "accidents" have you ever heard of in your life time? I have not heard of any.

paver beautiful trailer! Your link works, I added a space in front of it and I added some pics for you. You can delete them if you do not want them here. If you want to add more, go to your photobucket page, and next to each pic, just click in the box on the right by IMG and it should turn yellow and say "copy" and then just paste here.
