Hey, My name is Lisa. I'm new to this so please be patient with me. I bought my first camper last week. We were going to just fix it up with new everything but as we started going over the trailer and realized just how much character and good bones it has, (so many orginial parts in tact) we want to restore it. I have researched as much as I can Google and still have questions which is how I ended up here. So far this is what I know:
It's an 18' FAN Travel Trailer - Style Liner , made in LaGrange, IND. I found the serial # but I do not know the year. It only came with a bill of sale.
Could the 67 on the tail light indicate that it's a 1967 or is that a myth. I know that's true on some older cars. I came across pix of a few other 67 and 68 FANs with the same floor plan but different colors inside and out. I was trying to find something that matched up. Not a whole lot about them. I will try to load pix

Hi welcome Pictures always help. Before you start taking things apart take some time and go to mobiltec's website and watch several of his videos on trailer repair they will provide you with a wealth of information that might prevent you from making very expensive mistakes. Good Luck and Welcome to the board just post your questions and hopefully someone will have the answer.

Welcome! And ditto what Bill said. Do NOT, NOT, NOT start tearing things apart/out without a plan, and do NOT throw anything away until you have replaced it. These old trailers are light because there isn't a lot of extraneous structure, etc. Pretty much everything has a purpose. Congrats on deciding to repair/restore/improve it. We can't wait to watch your progress!
