Anyone travel with theirs? Has anyone modified their trailer to accommodate their dogs? If so, how?

We travel with a Yorkie and sometimes a cat, too. Our Yorkie doesn't take up much space. There is a member here who built a space under the their bench for their dog. I'll see if I can find the link. Found it. Dawn built a "Dog Cave" in her trailer. vintagetrailertalk.freeforums.net/thread/1601/fix

Our dog "has modified" his owners! He takes us along on his camping trips. He sits on the table looks out the front window, and guards "his trailer" when we are gone.
On one customer's trailer, I was requested to rebuild a lower cabinet door and wall "with expanded metal screen" and installed a wall mount water feeder, because the dog was used to sleeping in a cage.

That's a cool idea, John, like a built-in kennel. My dog likes having his "safe place," as long as you don't shut the kennel door.

I just built a simple new panel door, but substituted expanded metal mesh for the normal wood center panel.
Metal supply stores sell lots of nice looking decorative metals, you just have to hunt around.
