Just wanted to introduce myself.....I'm Stephanie, from Houston and I just bought my first camper yesterday as a matter of fact She's a 1966 Kit Companion. I am big into Renaissance Faires and these little campers are a hit with those of us that camp on a regular basis, and at different faires throughout the year. So, I am happy that I am now in the Vintage Club!!! I've wanted one for a long time. Anyway, She has some work to be done on her...mainly the roof so I posted in the exterior repair forum first.... once that is done I can focus on her other minor issues, mostly cosmetic....but I am super happy and excited that I finally got the camper I've always wanted! It was love at first sight!

Welcome.
Cool camper.
Owning a vintage camper is almost more fun than camping.

A hardy Hi Ho Stephanie. Cool old trailer. Please, pull up log by our campfire, a beverage of choice, and join in the VT conversation.

Quote " owning a vintage camper is almost as fun as camping"
so, do people actually camp in these? I thought they just sat in your drive and got worked on. That's all mine has done so far. Wayne

Sorry, forgot to say, I'm in Houston too, in the Heights.
My son's wife's mother, his mother and law, not mine, just bought a 71 Tag Along and she and a girlfriend are rebuilding it, with a new birch interior, to go camping with the sisters on the fly group. She's in Sugerland Wayne
