I receive this as a PM and wanted everyone to be able to participate:
Hi Vintage Friends, I am so very happy to finally be part of Vintage Trailer family! I have visited this Family & Forum so many times already as it has been terrifically helpful in my search and research of all things Vintage and all things Trailer too! Sooo, family (if I may be so bold already, ha), I desperately need your assistance already! You see, I bought my very unique, very little, very adorable and very much in some TLC Vintage Trailer: 1969 16' Norris Travel Trailer!!! Thank you, haha...However, as much as I have done so research on this journey (my first choice was a Shasta Daisy), I ended up purchasing my little Norris today for a few good reasonable reasons; she was close to home, she was priced right (and still managed to talk him down a few hundred), she actually has two solar panels, flat screen TV, and a few other goodies that helped to convince me early today! BUT, I simply cannot find ANY information about anything Norris, let alone 1969 & 16' Travel Trailer! Can anyone help me? I have so much excitement...once I know where to begin, i.e.; Manual?
Thank you all so very much and I look forward to our ongoing friendship!
Peace, funkygg

I certainly hope Vikx doesn't pi$$ anyone off by publishing a PM.... Welcome aboard! I'm sure by now you know we're a rowdy friendly bunch who offer insanity advice and know-how very freely! We absolutely demand request photos to help us all share in your excitement and to be really nosy know better how to help. Kudos to LadyW for the photos and link! Great stuff! 1969 seems to have been right in the middle of an era that included so many different manufacturers of travel trailers and campers, that on a grand scale, most were short-lived and very little history or literature survived. In a lot of cases, searching for a manual for your particular trailer may be like looking for hens' teeth in a haystack. That being said however, most of the manufacturers of the day were using very similar building techniques, and suppliers of such things as appliances were limited in numbers, and a lot of the campers were very much alike. You will likely find most of your useful information from reading through the different sections of the forums, and bringing specific questions up to experienced campers. It does become more of an exciting journey as you do discover more things about it that are brand-specific. I promise it will be an interesting ride!

I am thinking of putting an add in the local kijiji (thats the Canadian craiglist) in the town where my trailer was manufactured offering $50 for a owners manual pre 1970. I figure the chances of their being more owners there is higher.
