Welcome. Your trailer does look in nice shape. Can't wait to see it decorated.

Yes, nice looking trailer! Welcome to the nuthouse.
I'm in Powell, WY for a couple of days. But not with my trailer. Brrrrr, it's cold and windy here. I've seen several nice hams in the area.

Thanks for the compliments! I will post pics of the progress. Just got done ordering the foam from fabulessfabrics.com. I don't know if the quality is up to snuff, but for $37 per piece of foam (72"x24"x4"), I thought I would give it a try. My girlfriend sews and will do the upholstering and curtains. Yes, nice looking trailer! Welcome to the nuthouse. I'm in Powell, WY for a couple of days. But not with my trailer. Brrrrr, it's cold and windy here. I've seen several nice hams in the area. Thanks, yas! Powell, huh? I am from Bridger, MT, about 35 miles north of you. I camp all year long in the surrounding mountain ranges (weather permitting). Our trailer is in Sheridan, WY right now, at the girlfriends house. I can't wait to start the interior spruce up!!

What a great little trailer! Congrats and welcome to our little group of loonies. Quick question... the trailer seems to sit up high. Were they all made that way, or is the axle flipped?

Thanks, Hamlet! I thought the axle was flipped when I first saw it, but it is not. It just sits high! Perfect for camping in the Pryor, Bighorn and Absaroka/Beartooth Mountain ranges here.

Sweet little trailer and welcome to VTT! I'm digging that it has a floor heater in it. I have a bit of former Montana in me also but up a bit north (Kalispell, Columbia Falls, Libby, Troy, etc., etc.).

Welcome Pryorstemmed! Your little Cardinal is very nice. Reminds me of my "Birdie" who didn't have that fancy rear wing. Enjoy our board.

Thanks for the welcome RJ! That little propane floor heater puts out some nice heat. I was wondering if I should put down a heat resistant barrier between it and the laminate flooring I will put down? The grate does get pretty hot! The NW part of MT is gorgeous and I will be hauling the Cardinal up there now and again!
Thanks for the compliment and welcome, vikx! I love this board and all the information I can get by looking through past threads! Thanks again!

Thanks, gomesie! We will enjoy it in all the National Forest, BLM and National Park campgrounds around here, for sure! I just ordered some Wildlife upholstery fabric, foam for the cushions and a new Pyrex propane globe for the light. Can't wait to start on our projects. We are gonna take the existing plywood table and put a moose silhouette on it with wood stain. I will post pics when done.

I have the cushions ordered and just bought the upholstery material for the cushions and curtain bottoms. Here it is: The girlfriend and I will start staining the temporary table with this moose silhouette this weekend: I ordered the pyrex globe and got the laminate wood flooring from the extra I had from my basement remodel last summer. I got all of my interior decor from the 1976 Blazer Chalet I just sold and will put it in the new to me Cardinal. It is all coming together! I will update with pictures when we complete each project.
