Planned to work on trailer this morning but appears I will spend it blowing snow. Cleaned drive for daughter to go to work, came in house grumbling then schools were delayed 2 hours. about 30 minutes later they closed for the day. Now I have to go out and clean driveway again as we are getting a little one dropped off in an hour or so and it looks like I wasn't out there two hours ago. Grumble, grumble, I don't know which is the worst snow or living where there 115 degree days they both are a pain in the hind end. We shouldn't get a snow like this till next month. Glad I got the snow tractor ready the other day. This is the kind of weather we had in the 40s and 50s when I was a kid but it didn't bother me back then.

Seems winter has hit us early. I'm not ready for it! It could be worse; family back home is having storms and tornadoes. Saw pics in AL of some campers that were turned over in the winds.
No snow here, YET! But we dipped down in the low 20's a couple of nights ago. We've got a nice drizzle now, ahead of the next cold front. I've kept my trailer heated and I'm so proud of it. Nice and warm with my little ceramic heater. Also happy to say that it's not covered and there are no leaks! Bad news is I ordered some longer carriage bolts to replace four (Lowe's were just a tad too short, my nuts barely fit on them) and they came the day it was freezing. Hate to get on the cold wet pavement and replace them, but that's the only thing that's keeping me from taking her for a spin. Hoping I can still do some work inside her, even though the weather is not great.
I'll take 115 degrees over snow, anyday!
Saw on tv where some schools are cutting out snow days and making kids log on for school. Gee, that's no fun!
Enjoy that little one while you're keeping warm inside!

When it is 115 out it is to hot to do any thing. Sounds like your heater is working out very well. The picture out you cousin's window looks similar to my view just no houses only snow covered spruce trees. It puts me in the mood for Christmas, it looks like a Christmas card view. The birds and squirrels are really hitting the feeding station today.

I hate cold soup
I can think of two who enjoy cold soup though! Here they are now, moving through the last curve at full speed with the four wheel drive kicked in and heading for home!

Here's how my babies enjoy a dreary rainy day. Guess they got tired of picking.

Hubby is coming home from San Diego tomorrow night. Boy, is he going to have a rude awaking. Low for tomorrow night is 16 and it's usually 4-5 degrees colder at our house than the "in town" forecast. He had the audacity to tell me on the phone that it was a little chilly there. Bwahahahaha!

It was 11 degrees high today with a bitter wind. I'll bet I shoveled 250 pounds of snow off the top of my pickup with topper this afternoon.

I'm not giving you a like on that one Bill. You're in better shape than I am because there's no way I my cold achy bones could do that!

Winter storm warning here for tomorrow. Only 2-4 inches and I'm praying they aren't wrong. One year, they said no ground cover and we got 3 feet. Winter is here. sigh.

-27 degrees here where I live. I guess you can understand why I wanted to rebuild my trailer indoors.
