Our '64 Aristocrat LoLiner came with a plywood box that held a brass bucket and a toilet seat. It looked like it may have been original to the trailer. I never used it, but it was a godsend when camping with a 3 year old. The worst part was carrying the pot through the campground to empty. More than once were were asked "Oooh, what's in the pot? Dinner?"
Having a trailer with a real bathroom is very nice, but I do miss Napulleon. (Yes, our trailers name was Napulleon)

I do believe I've seen the brass pots before. When I was a kid, my granny's house had tall enamel pots with lids in the bedrooms so you didn't have to go to the outhouse in the dark.

Thunder mugs as we used to call them were really nice in the winter when there was a foot of snow or more between you and the outhouse. My other half never had the full time experience of a winter path they always had a flush toilet in the house. I tell her she was spoiled and that she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. I was nine when we finally put in a septic tank and indoor plumbing, I thought I had died and went to Haven.

I grew up spending summers in a remote place with an outhouse. It had two holes so you could go with a friend .... When I think about that now.... It's really weird!

Would make a good beer cooler when not in use for "other things". If grabbing one in the middle of the night, better check you are...in fact, reaching for a cold one.

Well I was thinking of going with charcoal grey on the walls...yeah, I mean real CHARCOAL rubbed on the walls until they are the right shade of grey...to give it the open fire feel inside...also would make it easier to do my wall gliphs...kind of Neanderglamping.
