Hi All,
It has come to my attention that I've made so many videos on trailer restoral that it's getting to be a little confusing when someone wants to dial in on a particular phase of their project. Of course I know where it all is but when a new viewer wants to know something it can be a little confusing.
So I've decided to revamp my website with new mapping and indexing in order to make it easier for people to find the exact video they need when working on a particular part of their project. Being that I still have about 6 or 8 weeks before I can work on trailers again it makes perfect sense to use this time to accomplish this. It will give me something to do with my time and make the website easier to navigate.
One thing I would love to incorporate into the website is a search mechanism. I know nothing about how to do that. So if anyone here knows how to add a search feature to a website and is interested in helping out please let me know. I can't pay you because I don't make money on this site really. I do get a few donations but they just pay for the costs and sometimes don't even do that. But if you are like me and enjoy helping others, please PM me if you would like to help.
I wish to thank you all for your love and support during my little vision crisis and I feel that I owe it to you all and others to make these changes so your trailer restoral experience will be a friendly one.
Thanks again and Happy Trails to you all...

I'll be using a script for the on site searches. Just need to find one. I try to keep my site ad-free. And I won't pay a subscription for anything. Thanks though...

Larry, here is an idea. In another post on this forum here link Go down to post #6. It mentions when setting up a blog on blogspot.com, you can search the page. You said you were looking for a search option on your website. Might be worth a try. You can place a link on your canned ham site that goes to the blog. Once at the blog, you have the videos listed the way you want them listed and an accompanying link to the video. That way people could search for the video, which you wanted. It's just something that came to me in the moment, not sure how user friendly it is. cheers Rod
