For those of you tool junkies check out the new KREG DB210 Foreman electric pocket hole machine. Twice the speed, half the effort.

Or you can go to ebay, and type in kreg foreman.. plenty of them on there, but 400.00 is a bit too rich for my blood! Looks cool though!

Youtube link for those interestedMy gosh I don't how I ever missed seeing anything about the Kreg Foreman, but in researching and watching hours of Youtube videos about face frame joining for cabinetry, I stumbled across a professional cabinet maker who uses the Kreg Foreman. I have moved this little gem to the top of my wish list, followed closely by the pneumatic crinkle staple shooter (can't recall in the moment what it's called).

I guess it would depend on how much you'd use it. I've paid hundreds of dollars on tools that I don't use nearly often enough. If you were doing lots of cabinetry and other joints and time was an issue, $400 wouldn't be considered outrageous. That said, I don't know that I'm quite at that level. Someday maybe. SaveSave

bigbill theresa There are numerous YT video of people who take a cheap drill and a regular 1 hole jig and make a table top "Feuxman" out of it. Very ingenious design for just a few bucks and some scrap lumber.

With a little thought almost anything can be duplicated if you are handy.

One of those Youtube guys is convinced that Kreg built their "Foreman" by copying his design.

Dang! $400? I think I'll stick with my trusty $60 jig from HF.
