My wife and I just bought a 1969 Shasta Compact. We call it Ernestine. I'll spare you the details on the name. I will, however, tell you that MaryJane our '65 VW Kombi is a bit po'd to see this stranger around. We've used MJ as a camper for many years. She was originally a Sundial camper conversion. Bad wood caused me to redo the interior. Enough of that, back to Ernestine. She has much of the typical problems due to age and stupidity. A gallon of silicone caulking, brushed on oil based paint applied with no masking. Add the makeshift bed and the lack of the original appliances and we have a project. Big time. Did I mention the A/C unit violating the missing rear window opening? We'll have fun with it. This is a brand new laptop and I have no pics of her loaded yet. Soon.

Thank you! No, some bonehead removed them. Since the camper won't be going back to NOS and being an artist, I will make some. Better than original..eventually.
