Wow! Price looks right until you look at the interior pics. I can't imagine anyone paying for that. They might need to pay someone to take it away.

Just up the road from me.....Looks like Justin Bieber's crew had a party in there. I wonder if those panels could be straightened?

"She will require a new owner with patience and a good heart to bring her back to her prior glory."
A big wallet would help, too.

I think the main concern would be how many life times would it take to straighten and re-polish it. I would think you could purchase one in good shape cheaper than you could repair that one.

Aluminum is worth the price??? Maybe, but doubtful?
The going price for "clean" aluminum sheet last week, was .50 cents a pound. I doubt that you could get 1000 pounds of "clean" aluminum out of that trailer. What they deem as "dirty" aluminum with nails and screws in it only brings .25 cents a pound. Most of the weight in the trailer is the suspension (axle/springs/wheels/hubs), steel frame, and plywood floor which have little scrap value, and would likely "cost you money" to dispose of at the dump.
I took in a full pick up load of scrap aluminum and it was only 200 pounds. Plus........because of all the crack heads stealing copper wire, you have to go back THREE DAYS after you drop off the metal to pick up your money. They do a police report on each transaction. The joy of living in a big metro area.
IMO, the only way to "make any money" on recycling is to find "free trailers" that property owners just want removed from their land.

In the area where I live a seldom considered source of free campers (some vintage with a bit of salvageable parts) if you have the time to haul and strip them, is getting word out to the owners/managers of hunting leases. Lots of hunting leases within a 2 hour drive of me Always seems to be abandoned campers people don't want to bother with once they give up their memberships, many not towable. As you have said John Palmer...a good sawzall, portable power source and a pack of new blades and it can be cut into pieces that could fit on a decent sized utility trailer. Lease owners seem happy for you to clear the site so it can be used by a new member. Just have to watch out for rats, poisonous spiders and poisonous snakes.
