Hi all. My name is John and I was on the old site quite a bit. Well, after having 10 trailers in the past 3 years, I told my wife that there would be no trailers in 2014. I really did mean it at the time, and I was doing really well, until I saw this on CL for 400.00... eventually got it for 300.00. I asked my wife last Friday morning if I could get it, and she said "Absolutely not- we can't afford it" I told her that was fine, end of story. Well, When I went into work on Friday, my Manager told me she was really short for the coming Sunday, and would I like to work an extra shift.. I said heck yeah! After the overtime and a weekend bonus for coming in, I made enough in that one shift to buy this with plenty to spare! I figured it was divine providence, so I texted my wife the news, and that I would be buying the trailer. (I was sacrificing my day off, and she just had CEUs to do, so didnt want to do anything anyway. She actually is okay with it.. I have promised that THIS will be the last one-- I really mean it?? Here is a link to the album.. The PO had bought it from his neighbor 2 years ago with the plan of making it a food truck. Thanksfully he had alot of projects going on and never got to it. Photobucket album- 63 ScotsmanGlad to be back here with a camper.. no rush on this one.. in all honesty I am really tired of constantly looking for a camper, finding one, falling in love with it, having it for 4-5 months, see another one, fall in love with it, sell first one, buy second one, keep it for 4-5 months....I am sure you all know what I mean! Here's how she was.. poor forgotten camper..

It sure is Vikx. One thing I didn't know about these trailers- they are extremely light. They are made just like Scottys with no internal framing in the walls. Someone I spoke with said her Scotsman weighed just over 1100! Definitely having an icebox vs a fridge decreases weight, as does the stovetop vs stove. I Love It.. Definietly the most distinct camper I have owned, (imho)
