I had buckshot holes and I put the aluminum waterproof tape on the back and filled them with JB weld from the front and it worked nicely.

Wow, what a find. that's a cool trailer. How long is it? Does it come with a bathroom? Is the frame as you found it or did you have to do some welding on it? IT looks just like the mods I did to mine. Yours is framed in the same manner i did the Silver Lodger when it all prover to be beyond any hope or saving. I'll be following this one. If I can get started back on mine soon we might end up running almost parallel. My outside is almost completed and I need to start the interior work now.Way cool. Wayne 1949 Silver Lodger WWW. Silverlodger.com (I wish someone woule show me hos to do a link on here)

Thank You it 17' long. No bathroom but I will be adding one. Mine is down to the frame now. I work at a cabinet shop so I'll be making the walls this winter and in the spring starting reassembly.

The Silver Lodger is 16' long. I am adding a bath as well. I am also a cabinet and furniture maker. Good luck, it's really a cool trailer.

I'm GREEN with envy Elewayne and Uppie89... AH, to be a cabinetmaker/woodworker. I can frame em/make em strong, but would enjoy the inside build more if there was cabinetry experience. A great Uncle was a furniture maker; not me... It takes great patience and a lot of perfectionism. Kudos to you both.

Thanks Vikx. (I'll get off Uppie89's site after this. This could be considered rude.) I put a button on the Silver Lodger site to go to my house and the work that has kept me from the trailer for two years. Wayne

I had buckshot holes and I put the aluminum waterproof tape on the back and filled them with JB weld from the front and it worked nicely. Hearing that you have buckshot holes makes me chuckle and wonder if using jb weld on the exterior backed with Nashua waterproof tape on the back side could work for some screw holes I have in the skin. Seriously, someone had enough of that trailer at some point. I hope to never get there!

Is it spring time yet? I'm looking forward to continue reading this build. I hope you've thawed out enough!
