Hey guys, I am new to the site and the whole camper scene...(got too old to sleep in a tent) . Am buying an old Williams craft from an acquaintance and would like some guidance. Basic stuff... what to look for, common upgrades and stuff. Not going for a full restoration but I would like to spruce it up a bit. I know I need to update the 12v system, any good ideas are appreciated. All the labels are illegible, so im not sure which tank is which I live in Wyoming so an axle flip is probably in order? (this thing drags over thick paint on the road!) ANY info on Williams Craft would be awesome since I cant find anything about them online Thanks in advance, im sure once I get started there will be many more questions to follow! </a>'></span></span></p>

Congratulations on moving up to the world of us crazy people in vintage campers who no longer sleep in tents. But DON'T flip your axle. Bad idea. Read the threads here. Also, check out Mobiltec's videos. He has a lot with just about everything you need to know.

SusieQ, Why shouldn't you flip axles? Can you link to any threads about this? Thanks
