It is with some sadness that we say goodbye to Lula Belle, our '64 Shasta Compact. We rescued her, made her nice, and learned a lot. But 2 trailers were more than we had room for, and now that we have 3 dogs the Compact was a very tight fit. We sold her to a very nice guy, who is giving her to his wife for her 50th birthday. They'd been looking for one for quite some time. She'll be living in some luxurious digs - last we saw her she was in an airplane hanger with a vintage airplane and a very nicely restored Camaro SS. Hence the questions about shipping - we ended up delivering her to her new owner. It was a good excuse for a road trip. We camped in her two nights for the delivery (and two nights in a tent on the way home, with all three dogs!). Now we move on to her Big Sis, a '63 Shasta Airflyte.

WOW! )That's a nice looking hanger! That looks like and old "CUB" in the back. The camper looks nice as well. Congradulations on the sale.

Oh my! What a great setting for a vintage trailer! You let her go to a very nice home Yas. This looks like a cover photo for a magazine... Very impressed indeed.

Lucky Lula Belle, I hope they take her out from time to time, if only to be overwhelmed by the admiring throngs.
