My trailer is called "Little Red Bird"... partly because there was a red bird in the original logo, and also because we put word Bird in our RV's my moms boat is the Thunderbird, my boat is the baby bird, and our big trailer is called "The Nest".. so I guess I am a bit of a bird person.. I am glad you explained, I thought it was because you decided this trailer thing was for the birds.

Tentative name for mine is George, after the '74 quarter I found in the rear wall (a suggestion from someone in the "Treasure-I-Found-In-My-Camper" thread, IIRC). I kinda think it should be female like a boat, but it could also be named after Chief Dan George. A birdbrain? Hamlet, because he's too small to be a full "ham." (And because of our love of literature... the tow vehicle is named "Rosenkranz.") And because it's a quaint, pastoral little residential area! "When Pigs Fly" soon to be shortened to "Pigs Fly" (hopefully it flies.) My son made some comment about flying pigs when we brought her home. She was originally some shade of pink with tale-tale traces of faded pink paint left. I'm not a pink lover but my little piglet will get her pink back and her wings. I'm tellin' ya, I'd put curly tail wings on that thing so fast. My '60 Shasta Airflyte is Lola. In going through names in my head, it went something like this: "Shasta... what do I think of when I say Shasta? Daisies? No, I know there are already at least a couple Shastas named Daisy... hmmm... Shasta Cola... cola makes me think of the song 'Lola'. Hmmm, Lola's a cute name." Then I messaged my creative thinking friend and said my camper needed a name. Her 2nd thing she spewed out was Lola. And so Lola it would be. Love that song! And since Lola Gets What Lola Wants, there's nothing anyone can say when you order $1500 cushions! Also a bit of a nod to a Gollum quote What has it got in its pocketses?

My wife said she looked like a hunch back, so her name is Quasimodo, although we usually call her Quasi.

We have a big ole 35ft 5-ver that we live in when on the road for work. It casts a big looming shadow "over our shoulder" in the rear window when we pull it - not for the faint of heart. "Monster" is the word we most use when describing it. When we got our little vintage canned ham and parked it next to the Monster it looked like a baby - so "Baby Can" it has become - lol.
