Hey all...
Still working on the '69 Lo-liner and planning ahead a little...hope you can help.
Currently the Lo-liner hasa 110 shore input to a single 15 amp breaker. 3, 110 lights w/LEDs and an outlet. Can't see anything more than that in the future. I purchased a nice solar rig with built in AC/sine wave inverter with standard 3 prong outlet. Right now to usethe inverter I have to run an extension cord out of the battery compartment door to the 3 prong main AC in. I'd like to have a way to place both sources inline/inside. I purchased a 30 amp automatic transfer switch, but am beginning to think that it is really overkill for the load that I'll have on the system (and a bit more complex wiring than I thought). No AC,No fridge, etc. I'm seeing references to 15 amp manual transfer switches. Can someone recomend a common one for this kind of simple, low amperage setup? Thanks very much. Matt

How about a six pole three position switch of the correct amperage, wire your trailer to the center poles, the 110 shore to the poles on one end and your inverter to the poles on the other end. When the switch is centered there will be no power then one way would give one source and the other way would give you the secondary source.
