I came across this today.. Its a great idea, since its often hard to find a place to hang your tea towel in these tiny campers. It basically hooks over any cupboard door. I'm not a rooster fan, but I may get a metal shop to make me one that I can paint with a vintage theme.

Yeah it is cool! What about a little canned ham instead of the rooster??

Yes, cut the top from an actual can then hot glue it on, I am thinking one of the small pound or two cans what ever they are. next line the back with felt to protect the finish on your cabinet door.

Great idea... A actual can of ham in the canned ham! I think I will have to something with a can of ham now that you have said it.. Even if it's not the tea towel rack..

So true. bigbill... I will post pics.. I'm thinking it could be a few items, napkin holder for the table for one... trivets, cute wall art with hooks at the bottom for keys.... I think we should have a "canned ham" contest.. who can come up with the cutest canned ham accessory from a canned ham. maybe a good winter project when we all have cabin fever..

And here's a tea towel to put on a tea towel rack! My friend and neighbor made this and brought it over yesterday. Sorry, it's a one-off, not available in stores.

I'm embroidery NUT! I do machine embroidery now, or did before I started restoring a camper. Here's a cute hand embroidery pattern on Etsy for those so inclined to do their own: lovarevolutionary.blogspot.com/2014/01/retro-camper-hand-embroidery-pdf.html

I would have to "fix" the wings on that pattern if I used it.

I have not done this modification yet but checked to see what I needed. Still looking for my round-to-it.
On most of our oven doors there is a handle with a tiny gap, not big enough to fit a towel. BUT you can take the inside of the oven door off to access the handle screws and add about 4 stainless steel washers to each side and Whhaala a towel will slide in. Check your handle screws for length before you get the washers because you may need longer screws. Take one with you to make sure its the correct thread size. Home Depot and Lowes also have little aluminum stand offs, small cylinder piece like a tube, if you want it further out than a couple washers. I think it still looks okay with about 4 washers added.

My inability to understand the very existence of a "tea" towel probably precludes my ever becoming a glamper.
