Thanks for the encouragement. The skins are from Hemet Valley, and those guys totally rock. All the corners have Sik-a-flex under the overlap, and all the door, window and vent openings have Sik-a-flex between the wood and the aluminum. Water is really going to have to do some magic to get under this little lady's skin.

I looked this stuff up to see what it was and they have many marine use sealants and adhesives. Very expensive I might add.

I'm using the Sikaflex 221, polueurethane sealant. Kinda pricey, but I fixed a lot of leaks in a 29' Prowler with it, so I trust it. You can find it on the web for under $10 a tube. I think I got mine from Camping World, maybe. It's been a while.

It's really sticky, and takes some umph to push out of the tube. Also, you'll need a solvent to clean up with. thinner or gasoline works fine.

You can get some Sikaflex products at Home Depot. I know when doing my shower with kerdi waterproofing, Sikaflex caulking was about the only thing recommended other than the very expensive kerdi-fix brand. If it can waterproof a shower, it should do better than your average caulking in a trailer, as long as it's not the primary waterproofing method.
