Hi, My name is Clay, and I am in need of the expert advice of forum members. I hope that this is the right place to post, if not, please direct me to where this belongs. My older brother recently purchased a piece of property near Wiggins, CO. The property came with a 1961 Kenskill 23 1/2 foot trailer, pics below. The trailer was originally purchased in 1961 and sold to the owners of the Wiggins property in 1989. The trailer served as the original homestead at the Wiggins property in 1989 and hasn't seen the road since. The original owner kept very detailed records along with photos of road trips and camping with the trailer back in the 60's and 70's. I have the original bill of sale, title, and marketing brochure, along with a abundance of other information about the trailer and its components. The original owner kept very detailed records on the trailer. My brother isn't interested in keeping the trailer and would like to sell it. My question for the forum is what might the approximate value of the trailer be? I believe the trailer has most of its original equipment and would assume that it's a perfect candidate for restoration. I have not seen the trailer in person and don't know if there is any rot but I wouldn't be surprised as it has been outdoors for the past 25 years. Thank you in advance for any help or advice you could pass along. -Clay

Another Wow.
Altho this is a bigger, tandem axle trailer, it has a lot of charm and seems to be in good condition. Water damage at the roof vent. Too cool body.
A good way to find out would be to list it on eBay with a high reserve. I believe you get a "2nd chance" if it doesn't meet the reserve.
Let's leave this thread here for the time being. Maybe some other members will chime in on asking price.

Holy cow, what a gorgeous trailer! As vikx said, a little on the large side, but that back end is too cool for words, and the layout is versatile and efficient. Someone out there is going to be really lucky!

Wow those old pictures look like the houses in my neighborhood in Denver, actually I'm not too far from the old Cinderella City! Any idea where they were taken?

I believe the address is 2361 Krameria Street, which is fairly close to City Park and the Denver Zoo. Any suggestions or even a guess on what you think the trailer might be worth in the Denver market? I need all the help I can get.

Ok , a couple questions/fyi's to determine value
A) size matters, the larger trailers don't bring the money the little trailers do, anything over 16' seems to be less desirable B) title, does it have one? While yes you can get a bonded title in CO it is a pain, and easier to sell if it has one. C) is it towable, bearings tires? Tires may look ok but trailer tires rot in the sun, bearing if not packed can seize.
